A final decision on the 2100 Mhz spectrum auction will be taken after the meeting of the Telecom Commission, the official said
The government is unlikely to auction 2100 Mhz spectrum this fiscal, reports CNBC-TV18's Malvika Jain, quoting an unnamed official.
"The government sees no desirability of auctioning 2100 Mhz spectrum this fiscal," said the official, adding that the real demand for the spectrum can be assessed only after the auction of 900 Mhz and 1800 Mhz spectrum in February.
A final decision on the 2100 Mhz spectrum auction will be taken after the meeting of the Telecom Commission, the official said.
