The company, however, must first agree on the increase with officials from the states it supplies electricity to.
On October 17, 2013, at 11:14 hrs Tata Power Company was quoting at Rs 80.20, up Rs 0.90, or 1.13 percent. The 52-week high of the share was Rs 113.20 and the 52-week low was Rs 68.25.
The company's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 4.51 per share as per the quarter ended June 2013. The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 17.78. The latest book value of the company is Rs 51.67 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 1.55.
