Woodland targets Rs 8,000-crore turnover in FY'13

Apparel and footwear brand Woodland today said it aims to achieve a turnover of Rs 8,000 crore in the current fiscal compared to Rs 7,000 crore posted in the last financial year.

Addressing a press conference here, Woodland Managing Director Harkrit Singh said the company is confident of achieving the Rs 8,000 crore turnover target set for FY13.

Woodland exports 20 per cent of its products to South East Asia, Europe, Hong Kong and China, he said after launching a new range of Woodland products in Madhya Pradesh.

The company, which has 350 outlets in the country, makes 4 million pair of shoes and 3.5 million pieces of garments per year, Singh said.

The company also makes winter jackets and other apparels for adventure athletes, he said.
