Wipro gains 2.5% post Q2 results

Wipro , the country's third largest software services exporter has come out with second quarter numbers. The comapny's Q2 consolidated net profits was at Rs 1610 crore versus Rs 1,580 crore, QoQ.

Its consolidated revenue was at Rs 10620 crore versus Rs 1,580 crore, QoQ.

Its IT services revenue was at Rs 1541 crore versus Rs 10,619.6 crore, QoQ.

The comapny's IT services revenue was at Rs 8,373 crore versus Rs 8,314 crore, QoQ and IT services dollar revenue was at USD 1,541 million versus USD 1,515 million, QoQ.

Its EBIT was at Rs 1,731 crore versus Rs 1,744 crore, QoQ. The IT services EBIT margin was at 20.7% versus 20.97%, QoQ.

At 09:16 hrs Wipro was quoting at Rs 370.55, up Rs 9.15, or 2.53%. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 372.00 and an intraday low of Rs 369.00.
 
It was trading with volumes of 43,181 shares. In the previous trading session, the share closed up 3.02% or Rs 10.60 at Rs 361.40.
 
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 452.50 and 52-week low Rs 335.10 on 17 February, 2012 and 26 October, 2012, respectively. Currently, it is trading 18.11% below its 52-week high and 10.58% above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 91,235.68 crore.
